Sister Mary Victor Rogers, 84, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, died June 15 at Owensboro Medical Health System, in her 66th year of religious life A native of St. Thomas in Nelson County, she was born Agnes Evelyn Rogers, the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Otto Dugan Rogers. She was raised in New Haven by her uncle and aunt, Victor and Sudie Rogers.
     A music and classroom teacher for 50 years, she taught in Kentucky at St. Paul School, Leitchfield; St. Joseph School; St. Mary Magdalene School, Sorgho; Holy Trinity School, Fredericktown; St. Bartholomew School, Buechel;  St. Edward School, Jeffersontown; Blessed Mother and  Sts. Joseph and Paul schools, Owensboro; and Our Lady of Mercy School, Hodgenville (principal and teacher); Immaculate School, Owensboro (organist and teacher); and St. Paul School, Princeton (organist, principal, and teacher).  She was also a teacher at St. Teresa School, Glennonville, Mo.
     From 1985-92, she was director of the Suzuki violin program at Brescia College. From 1992 until her retirement in 2003, she was director of the museum at Maple Mount.
     Survivors nieces and nephews, and the members of her religious community.
     The Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, June 17, at Mount Saint Joseph, with burial in the convent cemetery.
