What fed your desire to become an Ursuline Sister?
As early as third grade, I wanted to be an Ursuline Sister because I saw Ursulines living among us and teaching us. Some of them were very caring and concerned about us. I put this desire in the back of my mind but it always came back, even though I tried to run away from it. Through the 40’s and 50’s and until 1964, I tried other things until I had to make a decision. Was this what I was supposed to do? This was the time of many changes in the Church.
Are you happy in what you are doing?
Most of the time, I am happy in religious life and helping others by being present to them in their elderly years. The people I am with are so appreciative and grateful.
What do you see as the most important thing an Ursuline Sister does?
Her prayer life is the most important thing an Ursuline Sister does and her life in community. Getting together and praying with each other, associates, family, and friends.
