Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee swine operation
  • Operation and maintenance of farm equipment
  • Assist with planting and harvesting

Internships Available:

Archives Summer Intership

The Mount Saint Joseph Archives in Maple Mount, KY, is seeking a college student interested in a summer internship who is presently enrolled in an archives or history program. This intern will be responsible for processing materials from religious congregations that have merged with the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph and perform other duties as assigned. The candidate should demonstrate an interest in archival work and understand the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. The internship will last 10 weeks during the summer of 2012 with a negotiable start date.

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate education in archival management or history.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Quick learner with ability to take direction.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Deep sense of responsibility and confidentiality.

 

While this is an unpaid internship, we will work with the candidate and his/her academic institution to provide the necessary information to grant academic credit. Additionally, housing and meals at Mount Saint Joseph are offered to the selected intern.

The candidate must show proof of medical insurance and have reliable transportation.
A background check will be conducted.
