The Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, “dedicated to freeing and nurturing women and children”, take applications for employment in the Human Resources offices (offices E and F in Paul Volk Hall, building #7) weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center Director

The Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center in northwestern Kentucky seeks a Director to develop educational and retreat opportunities to further the Ursuline mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop opportunities that include spiritual direction, the arts, efficient utilization and preservation of our environment.

  • Direct retreats at the Center when needed

  • Serve as the Director of the Office of Spiritual Life for the Diocese of Owensboro

  • Direct responsibility of operations of the Center including Hospitality, Scheduling, Food Services and Housekeeping.

  • Budget planning

Setting:

A 79-bed facility along with spacious conference rooms is located at Maple Mount, Ky., on the Motherhouse campus of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph. This tranquil country setting includes a farm and park.

Qualified candidates must have five years experience in the area of administration, preferably a retreat center; must have a reverence for and appreciation of the role of spiritual direction in the development of a mature spirituality; experience in giving retreats and directing spiritual programs.
