Visit a Sister-in-Ministry
Each month our Web site, www.ursulinesmsj.org, features a different Ursuline Sister and her ministry. You can chose to volunteer for a day, week, two weeks, month, or up to one year. An interview process is a requirement for those volunteers for service beyond one day. Availability is subject to the individual sister who grants permission. If you are interested in accompanying a particular sister-in-ministry, please call the Ministry Development office at (270) 229-4103 ext. 404, to help you set up a shadowing or partnering experience.

 

Special Events
Are you interested in hands-on preparation and working on special events and programs? This may involve decorating for a holiday, planning and executing a musical program, setting up the Chapel for extra guests, or getting ready for the annual Mount Picnic, held each year on the second Sunday of September. You can give an hour, day, or a year to one of these functions! You will have a rewarding experience. Office Opportunities
Some enjoy using their administrative or office skills in their volunteer work. At the Motherhouse and in our Mission Advancement Ministry offices, there are always many ways you can help. This may include sorting and stuffing envelopes, labeling, scrapbooking, filing, crafts, using a copier, and other office equipment, making calls, planting and maintaining flower pot/beds, and a multitude of other tasks.
