Sister Lois Lindle, center, local community life coordinator, helped plan a welcome reception for the new Glenmary novices on August 28.
The novices, John Paul, Charles and Fernando, asked Sister Marie Julie Fecher to pose for a picture. She will be instructing them in music. ________________________________________________________ Goodbye to our Glenmary novices! Craig, Crispine, Aaron Glenmary novices Craig, left, and Aaron, right, point on the map to where they will be going when they leave Maple Mount. Crispine sits near his map site, a small town in Oklahoma. Craig will be going to Arkansas and Aaron across the state of Kentucky. The photo was taken after a farewell dinner in the dining hall June 15.
Father Tom Kirkendoll, Craig Digmann, Father Dave Glockner, Crispine Adongo and Aaron Wessman pose for a final photo during a farewell dinner in the Motherhouse dining room on June 15. The priests led the three novices in their spiritual formation and training for a year at Maple Mount. Craig, Crispine and Aaron get together for a picture before they leave the Mount. They will be going in three different directions for ministry work for the Glenmarys. Sister Mary Gerald Payne says goodbye to Crispine. He was showing her his next U.S. destination on a map. Crispine is originally from Kenya. _____________________________________________________ Glenmary Novices Entertain Appreciation Party for Craig May 31, 2007 Sister Frances Miriam Spalding welcomed everyone to an appreciation party for Glenmary novice Craig Digmann. She helped organize the event. A crowd gathered to honor Craig, who was leaving the Mount to start a mission elsewhere. He has helped the sisters in the Villa for much of his year-long stay. The sisters prepare to read a prayer and sing a song in Craig's honor. Glenmary priests Father Tom Kirkendoll, left, and Father Dave Glockner, center, were in attendance. Sister Frances Miriam presents Craig with a framed print. At right is Sister Fran Wilhelm who played the organ at the event. Sister Frances Miriam explains that many of the sisters wrote down their thoughts about Craig, and these were compiled into a memory book for him to keep. Sister Betsy Moyer, Villa administrator, presented Craig with a small potted plant. She said the flowers would represent "love." Above and below: Sister Ann Victoria Wasylina sang a couple of Craig's favorite songs for him, including "Edelweiss." After Craig was recognized, those in attendance enjoyed Bingo and ice cream. Craig carved nice wooden crosses to use as Bingo prizes. Some of his crosses are now available for purchase in the Mount Saint __________________________ |
