Her nieces and nephew join Sister Mary Clement Greenwell, front row center, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, on April 22 as they helped celebrate her 100th birthday at the Motherhouse in Maple Mount. To her left is Barbara House, who is from Rhode Island, and to her right is Doris Cooper, who came all the way from Alaska for the birthday celebration. In the back row are Don Clements of Curdsville and Eleanor Cook of South Carolina. It was also Don Clement’s birthday, he turned 65.

Wally Ferrier, left, of Lexington, the great nephew of Sister Mary Clement Greenwell, gives a toast in honor of her 100th birthday Tuesday. Also joining in are Ferrier’s daughter, Audra, 7; Eleanor Clements Cook and her husband George Cook; and Jim House, husband of Sister Mary Clement’s niece, Barbara House.
